Amur Brown Bear Hunting

Amur brown bears, found along the Amur River in the Russian Far East, are large bears weighing 300-600 lbs (males) and 200-450 lbs (females). Their fur ranges from light to dark brown. These bears inhabit mixed forests with diverse vegetation and have an omnivorous diet, eating berries, roots, small mammals, and deer. They hibernate from late November to early April. Breeding occurs in summer, with females giving birth to 1-4 cubs during hibernation, and cubs stay with their mothers for 1.5-3 years.
