The argali, or wild sheep (Ovis ammon), is the largest species of wild sheep native to Central Asia, particularly the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding mountain ranges. Known for their impressive curved horns, which can grow up to 1.5 meters long in males, argali are well adapted to rugged, mountainous terrain and exhibit remarkable agility on steep slopes. They typically live in herds and are known for their striking appearance and social behavior.
