Black-And-White Colobus Hunting
The Black-and-white Colobus Monkey (Colobus guereza), or Mantled Guereza, is notable for its striking black and white fur and weighs between 10 to 20 kg (22 to 44 lbs). These social monkeys live in troops of up to 15 and primarily feed on leaves, fruits, and flowers, spending most of their time in trees. They are found in Central and East Africa, including Ethiopia and Uganda, preferring dense forests but also inhabiting secondary growth. Black-and-white colobus monkeys play a vital role in seed dispersal and are admired for their beauty and social behavior, contributing to wildlife tourism and conservation efforts.
