Blackbuck Hunting

The Blackbuck (Antilope cervicapra) is a graceful antelope native to the Indian Subcontinent, particularly India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Males are recognized for their spiral horns and striking black coat, while females are light brown. They inhabit grasslands, scrublands, and open forests, primarily grazing on grasses. Blackbucks are social animals living in small herds led by a dominant male and can run up to 50 km/h (31 mph) to escape predators. Due to habitat loss, their populations have declined, leading to a hunting ban in their native countries.
