Blue Duiker Hunting
Blue Duiker (Philantomba monticola), is found in sub-Saharan Africa and are divided into forest and savanna species. They inhabit dense tropical and subtropical forests of Central, Eastern, and Southern Africa, primarily in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, the Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic. They stand 30-45 cm tall and weigh 8-15 kg, with a compact body and bluish-gray coat. They prefer dense habitats that provide protection from predators. Blue Duikers are herbivores, feeding on leaves, fruits, and flowers. They are typically solitary or found in pairs and are known for their shyness. Due to their size and coloration, Blue Duikers are a fascinating part of the African ecosystem.
