Blue Sheep Hunting

Blue sheep (*Pseudois nayaur*) are herbivorous mammals found in the high mountain ranges of Central Asia, especially the Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau. Related to goats, they have bluish-gray coats, long shaggy hair, and curved horns, with males having horns up to 90 cm (35 inches). These social animals inhabit rocky terrains and alpine meadows, grazing on grasses and shrubs. They usually form herds of females and young, while males are often solitary. Breeding occurs in late autumn, resulting in one or two offspring after 5-6 months of gestation. They are vital to the balance of mountain ecosystems.
