Boehm’s Zebra Hunting

Boehm’s zebra, or Grant’s zebra, is the smallest zebra subspecies, native to eastern Africa from Zambia to Somalia. It has narrow, closely spaced black stripes that extend to the hooves and lacks shadow stripes. Weighing 770 to 990 pounds (350 to 450 kg), they inhabit savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands, feeding mainly on grass. Unlike other zebras, Boehm’s zebras are more solitary, with males often territorial. They are endangered due to habitat loss, competition with livestock, and poaching, making conservation efforts vital for their survival.
