Carpathian Chamois Hunting

The Carpathian chamois (*Rupicapra rupicapra carpatica*) is a subspecies of chamois native to the Carpathian Mountains in Central and Eastern Europe. These animals are herbivores, consuming a diverse diet that includes grasses, herbs, shrubs, and tree shoots. During the winter months, they may feed on vegetation that is concealed beneath the snow. Carpathian chamois are social creatures and generally reside in small groups. Males and females tend to form distinct groups, coming together only during the breeding season.
