Chukar Hunting

The Chukar (*Alectoris chukar*) is a type of partridge that is part of the pheasant family (Phasianidae). These birds are generally seen in small groups, particularly during non-breeding periods. When the breeding season arrives, they tend to exhibit more territorial behavior. Chukars have an omnivorous diet, mainly consisting of seeds, grasses, and other plant matter, but they also consume insects and small invertebrates.
