Coke’s Hartebeest Hunting

Coke’s hartebeest, scientifically referred to as *Alcelaphus buselaphus cokei*, is a subspecies of hartebeest primarily inhabiting the savannas and grasslands of eastern and southern Africa. As grazers, these animals predominantly feed on grasses and are particularly adept at consuming coarse grass species that many other herbivores tend to avoid. They are usually seen in small herds, with herd sizes fluctuating based on resource availability and habitat conditions. Males often live either solitarily or in small bachelor groups, whereas females tend to gather in larger groups with their young.
