Common Eider Hunting

The common eider, scientifically known as Somateria mollissima, is a large sea duck found in the northern hemisphere, particularly along the coasts of North America, Europe, and Asia. These birds are known for their distinctive appearance, featuring a broad head, long neck, and a thick body. Males are particularly striking, sporting a black and white plumage with a green nape, while females are more camouflaged, typically brown or mottled to blend in with the rocky coastal environments they inhabit.
