Coues Deer Hunting

The Coues deer (*Odocoileus virginianus couesi*), also known as the Coues whitetail or Coues white-tailed deer, is a subspecies of white-tailed deer predominantly inhabiting the southwestern United States and Mexico. These herbivorous deer primarily consume grasses, leaves, shrubs, and acorns, adapting their diet to the availability of food throughout the seasons. Typically solitary, they are often seen in small groups, particularly females with their fawns. Males may gather in loose bachelor groups outside of the breeding season.
