The East Siberian Moose, a subspecies of the moose (*Alces alces cameloides*), is found in the eastern regions of Siberia, Russia. These herbivorous animals have a varied diet, feeding on leaves, bark, twigs, and aquatic plants, including willows, birch, and various shrubs. Generally solitary, moose do form temporary bonds with their calves, which may remain together for several months. Males and females usually interact only during the breeding season.
