Egyptian Goose Hunting

The Egyptian Goose (*Alopochen aegyptiaca*) is a captivating waterfowl species native to Africa, with established populations also found in certain regions of Europe and the Middle East. Primarily herbivorous, they supplement their diet with seeds, grains, and, on occasion, small invertebrates. These geese typically forage on the ground, frequently grazing in grasslands and fields. Social by nature, Egyptian geese are often observed in pairs or small groups and are known for their distinctive loud honking calls. Their vocalizations become particularly pronounced during the breeding season, adding to their notable presence in their habitats.
