Hazel Grouse Hunting

The Hazel Grouse (*Tetrastes bonasia*) is a small bird from the Phasianidae family, which also includes other grouse and pheasants. This species is predominantly herbivorous, with a diet consisting of buds, leaves, seeds, and berries. During winter, they mainly depend on the buds of various trees and shrubs, especially birch and willow. Typically solitary, these birds may form small groups in the winter months.
