Hippo Hunting

The hippopotamus, or hippo (*Hippopotamus amphibius*), is a large, herbivorous mammal native to sub-Saharan Africa. Hippos primarily graze on grasses at night and are mostly found in rivers, lakes, and swamps. They are semi-aquatic and spend a lot of time submerged to keep cool and protect their skin from sun damage. Males are highly territorial, often leading to aggressive encounters with other males. Despite their docile appearance, hippos can be very dangerous.
