Hyena Hunting

Hyenas, belonging to the family Hyaenidae, are carnivorous mammals primarily found in Africa and parts of Asia. There are four main species: the spotted hyena, striped hyena, brown hyena, and aardwolf. Often mischaracterized as scavengers, hyenas are also highly skilled hunters that play vital roles in their ecosystems. They are intelligent animals, exhibiting problem-solving skills and social learning behavior. Spotted hyenas often hunt in groups to take down larger prey, while aardwolves primarily feed on termites and insects. Overall, they are opportunistic feeders with a diverse diet.
