Javelina Hunting

Javelinas, or collared peccaries (*Pecari tajacu*), are medium-sized mammals native to the Americas, found mainly in the southwestern United States, Mexico, and Central and South America. They are omnivores, feeding on fruits, roots, seeds, and occasionally small animals and insects. Javelinas are social animals that typically live in groups of 6 to 15 individuals, usually led by a dominant female.
