Lechwe Hunting

The lechwe is an antelope species from the genus *Kobus*. There are two main types of lechwe: the common lechwe (*Kobus leche*) and the sitatunga (*Tragelaphus spekii*). However, the sitatunga is frequently categorized separately due to noticeable physical differences, particularly its adaptations for living in wetland environments. Lechwe are vital to their ecosystems as browsers and grazers. They consume aquatic plants and grasses, playing a key role in maintaining the vegetation balance in wetlands, which in turn supports the overall health of their habitat.
