Lion Hunting

Lions (*Panthera leo*) are sizable carnivorous animals that belong to the Felidae family. Frequently called the “king of the jungle,” they are admired for their regal appearance and their status as top predators. As apex predators, lions mainly hunt large herbivores like zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo. They typically employ teamwork and strategy, working in groups to successfully capture their prey. Additionally, lionesses often time their births to coincide, enabling them to nurse their cubs together, which enhances the survival rates of the young.
