Mountain Zebra Hunting
The Mountain Zebra (*Equus zebra*) is a distinct species of zebra found in southern Africa’s mountainous regions, especially in Namibia and South Africa. It features closely spaced, broad stripes and a more horse-like build. There are two subspecies: the Cape Mountain Zebra and Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra. These zebras are herbivores, primarily grazing on grasses, and are well adapted to rocky terrains. They tend to be more social than other zebra species, forming small herds. Classified as near threatened, Mountain Zebras face threats from habitat loss and hunting, prompting conservation efforts to protect their populations.
