Pere David’s Deer Hunting

Pere David’s deer (*Elaphurus davidianus*), also known as Millett’s deer, is a species native to China. It became extinct in the wild in the early 20th century due to hunting and habitat loss but has been successfully reintroduced from captive populations. Characterized by its long legs, short neck, and unique antlers, it is adapted to wetland environments. Conservation efforts are ongoing to protect this species.
