Porcupine Hunting
Porcupines are medium-sized rodents that belong to the families Erethizontidae (which includes New World porcupines) and Atheruridae (which includes Old World porcupines). They are most recognized for their unique quills, which act as a defensive strategy against predators. When threatened, porcupines can raise their quills to appear larger and more formidable, as well as detach them upon contact with an aggressor. These animals are herbivorous, mainly consuming leaves, fruits, bark, and various woody plants, with their diets changing according to the season and their environment.
