Roe Deer Hunting
The roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) is a small species of deer native to Europe and parts of Asia. Characterized by its slender build, with a reddish-brown coat in summer that turns grayish-brown in winter, the roe deer typically stands about 75 to 100 cm (30 to 39 inches) tall at the shoulder. Males, known as bucks, have short antlers that grow in spring and are shed in late winter. Roe deer are known for their agility and are often found in forests, woodland edges, and open fields. They are primarily herbivorous, feeding on a variety of vegetation including grasses, leaves, and fruits. These deer are especially known for their solitary and shy nature, often seen alone or in small groups. Roe deer are most active during dawn and dusk.
